1. Introduction

1.1 Service Operator

(hereinafter referred to as "Operator", "We", "Us", or "ChatJunto AI")

1.2 Subject Matter

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the conditions for using the ChatJunto AI service, which provides access to AI assistants (companions) through messaging platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp).

By using the ChatJunto AI service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.


2. Definitions

Service — the ChatJunto AI platform enabling communication with AI assistants (companions) via messaging applications.

User — a natural or legal person who creates an account in the ChatJunto AI system.

Profile — an individual companion (AI assistant) created by the user. One user can have multiple profiles.

Companion — an AI assistant with a defined personality and focus (e.g., Zara for health, Max for work). A companion is not a human, but an AI system based on large language models.

Subscription — a paid service enabling unlimited access to the ChatJunto AI service.

Trial — a 14-day free trial period provided to new users.

Messaging Platform — third-party application (Telegram, WhatsApp) through which communication with companions occurs.


3. Registration and User Account

3.1 Account Creation

To use the ChatJunto AI service, you must create a user account at chatjunto.com. Registration requires:

  • Valid email address
  • Password (minimum 6 characters)

3.2 User Obligations During Registration

The user agrees to:

  • Provide true and current information
  • Secure login credentials against misuse
  • Not use the account for illegal purposes
  • Not share access credentials with third parties

3.3 Age Limit

The ChatJunto AI service is intended for persons aged 18 and over. If you create a profile for a person under 18, you must be their legal guardian.

3.4 Account Termination

The user may cancel their account at any time in the user dashboard. Account cancellation results in subscription termination and deletion of all data according to the conditions stated in the Privacy Policy.


4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Trial Period

New users receive a 14-day free trial from the date of registration. During the trial period, the user has access to all service features.

After the trial period ends, activation of a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.

4.2 Pricing Plans

ChatJunto AI offers the following subscriptions (prices include VAT):

4.3 Payment Terms

  • Payment occurs automatically every month through the Stripe payment gateway.
  • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the end of the billing period.
  • The Operator reserves the right to change prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply only to new subscriptions; existing customers retain the original price for 6 months.

4.4 Subscription Cancellation

Users may cancel their subscription at any time in the user dashboard (Billing section). By canceling the subscription:

  • Access to the service remains active until the end of the paid period
  • No further payment will be charged
  • Data remains stored for 30 days, then is permanently deleted

4.5 Refunds

The Operator provides refunds in the following cases:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of first payment — full refund
  • Technical problem on the Operator's side lasting more than 48 hours — proportional refund
  • In other cases, there is no right to a refund

5. Service Description and Scope

5.1 What ChatJunto AI Offers

  • Access to AI assistants (companions) with various personalities and focuses
  • Communication via messaging platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp)
  • Conversation memory — companions remember previous conversations
  • Creation of reminders and messages via AI
  • Customization according to user preferences

5.2 What ChatJunto AI Is NOT

ChatJunto AI is not and does not provide:

  • Medical, legal, or financial advice (companions may offer general information but do not replace professionals)
  • Crisis intervention or therapy
  • Guarantee of 100% availability (ChatJunto AI depends on third parties — Telegram, WhatsApp, Claude AI)
  • Human communication (companions are AI systems, not real people)

5.3 Service Limitations

The Operator reserves the right to:

  • Limit the number of messages or calls according to the pricing plan
  • Deactivate accounts upon violation of these Terms
  • Modify service features (with prior notice)
  • Terminate support for a specific messaging platform (with 60 days' notice)

6. Service Usage Rules

6.1 Permitted Use

The ChatJunto AI service is intended for:

  • Personal communication and assistance
  • Support for daily activities (reminders, planning, advice)
  • Communication with seniors or persons needing support

6.2 Prohibited Use

It is strictly prohibited to use the ChatJunto AI service for:

  • Illegal activities (fraud, harassment, spreading hateful content)
  • Automated queries or API abuse (scraping, spam)
  • Sharing accounts with multiple persons (one account = one user)
  • Reverse engineering or copying companion system prompts
  • Violating third-party rights (copyright, trademarks)

6.3 Sanctions for Violations

Upon violation of rules, the Operator reserves the right to:

  1. Send a warning to the user
  2. Temporarily suspend the service (account suspension)
  3. Permanently deactivate the account without refund
  4. File a criminal complaint (in serious cases)

7. Data Protection and Privacy

7.1 Personal Data Processing

The Operator processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and Czech data protection law.

7.2 Data Security

The Operator uses modern encryption standards and regular backups to protect user data. However, we cannot guarantee 100% security (risk of hacker attacks, third-party errors).

7.3 Data Ownership

  • Your messages and data remain yours. The Operator uses them only for service provision.
  • The Operator does not own the content of your conversations.
  • You have the right to download or delete your data at any time.

8. Liability and Warranty Limitations

8.1 Warranty Disclaimer

The ChatJunto AI service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.

The Operator does not guarantee:

  • Continuous service availability
  • Accuracy or correctness of AI companion responses
  • Suitability for a specific purpose

8.2 Limitation of Liability

The Operator is not liable for:

  • Damages arising from use or inability to use the service
  • Damages caused by technical problems of third parties (Telegram, WhatsApp, Stripe, Claude AI)
  • Data loss due to failure of external services
  • Decisions made based on information provided by companions

IMPORTANT: Companions provide general information, not professional advice. Always consult a professional for important decisions (health, legal, financial).

AI CONTENT DISCLAIMER: All responses generated by AI companions are created by artificial intelligence systems and are for informational and conversational purposes only. The Operator:

  • Does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
  • Is not responsible for decisions made based on AI companion responses
  • Does not provide professional advice of any kind through AI companions
  • Recommends consulting qualified professionals for important decisions

USER CONTENT LIABILITY: Users are solely responsible for:

  • The content of their messages and conversations with AI companions
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Not sharing sensitive, confidential, or illegal information
  • Their use of information received from AI companions

The Operator does not monitor, control, or endorse user-generated content or conversations. We are not responsible for how users interact with the service or apply information received from AI companions.

8.3 Maximum Compensation

In the event that the Operator's liability is proven, maximum compensation is limited to the amount paid by the user for the last 12 months.


9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Operator's Ownership

The following is owned by the Operator and protected by copyright:

  • "ChatJunto AI" name and logo
  • Design of the chatjunto.com website
  • System prompts and companion personalities
  • Application source code

9.2 License to Use

The Operator grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the ChatJunto AI service in accordance with these Terms. The license expires upon subscription termination.

9.3 Trademarks

"ChatJunto AI", companion names (Zara, Max, Mili, Maya, Junto) and related logos are trademarks of the Operator. Their use without written consent is prohibited.


10. Service Termination

10.1 Termination by User

Users may terminate service use at any time by:

  • Canceling their subscription in the dashboard
  • Deleting their account
  • Stopping communication with companions

10.2 Termination by Operator

The Operator may terminate service provision:

  • To an individual user — upon violation of Terms (with immediate effect)
  • To all users — upon service closure (with 90 days' notice)

Upon service closure, the Operator will:

  • Provide data export option (30 days)
  • Refund proportional part of paid subscription
  • Inform users at least 90 days in advance

11. Changes to Terms

11.1 Right to Change

The Operator reserves the right to change these Terms. Users will be informed of changes:

  • By email to registered address
  • By notification in the dashboard
  • At least 30 days before changes take effect

11.2 Consent to Changes

By continuing to use the service after changes take effect, you agree to the new Terms.

If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription and receive a proportional refund.


12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Out-of-Court Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, we try to resolve disputes amicably. Contact us at hello@chatjunto.com.

12.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes will be resolved according to Czech law. The competent court is the court according to the Operator's registered office.

12.3 Consumer Protection

If you are a consumer (natural person using the service for personal purposes), you have the right to contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) or use the ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.


13. Final Provisions

13.1 Effectiveness

These Terms become effective on April 1, 2026.
